WORKING PARTY DIARY

Volunteers keep the impetus going here at the Garw Valley Railway, and whilst all manner of tasks are ongoing every Wednesday and Saturday we schedule specific activities and projects on certain days and weekends. These can include:

​

  • Tracklaying and refurbishment

  • Fence laying

  • Overgrowth and balsam bashing

  • Platform Construction

  • Locomotive and rolling stock restoration

  • Plant and loco driving

​​

           And plenty more!

​​

No specific skills are required and many new skills can be offered via training such as plant driving, engineering, gardening, woodworking and much more! The railway is a great place to make new friends, learn new skills and of course enjoyment!

We do ask however that all volunteers are paid up members of the Garw Valley Railway for insurance reasons, please follow this link to join us or join on arrival!
